Why Sophie Monk chose not to have guests at her secret wedding

Sophie Monk married Joshua Gross in secret at their Central Coast home without guests last month with a new report showing why they didn’t have loved ones in attendance.

Daily Telegraph have claimed the couple had no guests due to a rift in the Love Island host family.

Apparently, Sophie’s mother Sandi, Andrew’s father, and Lucy’s sister, were absent due to the tension between them.

The fall reportedly occurred shortly after Sophie met Joshua and the family were unable to mend the relationship.

The publication reported that Sandi and Andrew were talking to Sophie, but their relationship was still strained.

Sophie and Lucy are also believed to have partially repaired their relationship, but apparently not enough to make it to the wedding.

Sophie shared photos from the intimate wedding on Instagram, writing, “I HAVE HUBBY! We eloped at home. I can’t believe I met him on the plane! This is crazy. Best flight of my life!”

The presenter continued, “I truly believe everything happens for a reason. I love you @joshuargross thanks for sticking with how messy, disorganized and lazy I am. You are my best friend in the world AND you are welcome to how funny I am. My jokes and how I totally destroyed you on Xbox F1! We’re both lucky.”
