Hannaford participates in her eight-year-old daughter’s parents’ race on her school sports day, after her daughter begs her to participate.

He told UK’s SWNS News he knew he would come last, but got more than he expected in the end.

Having lost her footing, she fell to her knees, and her dress flew over her head revealing her panties.

He flashed by to see students, parents and teachers huddled on the sidelines.

An adult right behind Hannaford at the time could be seen covering his face in disbelief as his stumble turned into an unintentional mooning.

Hannaford was initially embarrassed by the incident but has now seen the funny side.

“Lesson learned… I am no longer 21 and may not run in the moms race and never wear a dress while running!” Hannaford wrote in a Facebook post.

“When kids get more on sports day than they expected! Ha ha

“If you can’t laugh at yourself, then what’s life for? Sorry, kids, and anyone else watching!”

He later told the SWNS news agency that he tripped over himself.

“I just tripped over my own feet – I thought my body was moving too fast for my feet! I was so clumsy, I was always falling,” he said.

“I was humiliated at the time, but that’s how it is! I showed off my underwear, which is definitely a shame but you just have to have it.

“Looking back, it was hilarious – definitely the funniest thing I’ve ever done in my life!”
