Tom Parker’s heartbroken widow, Kelsey, paid a subtle tribute to her late husband by wearing a gold hairpin dedicated to The Wanted star at his funeral.

Tom Parker’s widow, Kelsey, paid a gentle tribute to her ‘soul mate’ on Wednesday at her funeral in southeast London.

Kelsey – whom she married in 2018 – wore a stunning personalized gold hairpin during the heartbreaking ceremony that read ‘Tom’ in silver gems.

The mother-of-two also wore the The Wanted singer’s silver wedding ring as she wept and said her final goodbyes.

Flowers spelling the word ‘Daddy’ from Tom’s children, Aurelia’s two children, two, and Bodhi, one, were carried carefully into the church after decorating the sides of the carriage.

And on the other hand, the touching tribute handprints of their two children were placed on the funeral carriage.

A flowery sign that spelled the word ‘Tom’ in rose red was affixed to the front of the hearse on its way to church.

Kelsey joined her family, friends and fans in saying a final goodbye to the singer who tragically died at the age of 33 last month after battling brain cancer.

She burst into tears after paying tribute to her ‘soul mate’ at the pop star’s funeral on Wednesday, saying: ‘If love alone can save you, you will live forever’.

Prior to the service, The Wanted’s bandmates Max George, Siva Kaneswaran, Jay McGuiness and Nathan Sykes were pictured carrying a black star coffin decorated with lilies to the Parish Church of St. Francis of Assisi in Petts Wood.

Kelsey wept as she left the service and kissed Tom’s coffin, having previously led a funeral procession of a horse and carriage through the streets of the couple’s local community.

Band member Wanted died on March 30 at the age of 33 surrounded by loved ones and bandmates, after battling for two years with stage 4 glioblastoma.

A pre-recorded message from Kelsey played at her funeral where she shared an anecdote about how the couple first met at a nightclub before she shot to fame with The Wanted, adding ‘From then on I told everyone I wanted to marry Tom Parker. ‘

The congregation burst into laughter as he said: ‘Tom told me he was going to be famous and wouldn’t have time for girlfriends, but he wouldn’t leave me alone.

‘I will cherish every memory because life with you is never boring. You’re always coming up with new songs, game shows and we all know how much you love discoveries – I’m sure you’ll be disappointed that you never made it in Dragons’ Den.

‘Marrying you was the best day of my life…soul mates, that’s us,’ he said, ending his speech telling Tom: ‘If love alone can save you you will live forever’
