The trailer for the 4th season of Stranger Things has been released by Netflix

A new trailer for the 4th season of Stranger Things has been released, teasing Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown), Mike (Finn Wolfhard) and the rest of the band to return to our screens this summer.

In the three-minute clip, we see Max (Sadie Sink) at the grave of Billy’s brother (Dacre Montgomery), telling him that since he died, “everything was a complete disaster”.

Hopper is then shown being held captive in Russia, where he is forced to fight the smaller version of Demogorgon, before the video is turned into Dr. Sam Owens (Paul Raiser), who speaks to Eleven in a restaurant, telling her that “a war it is coming “.

“I moved you away from Hawkins because I thought you would be safe,” he says. “I’m afraid your Hawkins friends are very much in the eye of the storm.”

While Eleven tells him she no longer has the strength, Owens tells her, “Without you we can not win this war.”

Netflix recently revealed that the upcoming season will be split in two, with Part 1 arriving in May and Part 2 landing in early July.

The new episodes are set to begin six months after the Battle of Starcourt, with Eleven touring the complexities of high school in California with Joyce (Winona Ryder), Will (Noah Schnapp) and Jonathan (Charlie Heaton).

Meanwhile, Max, Finn (Mike Wheeler), Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo), Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin), Nancy (Natalia) and Steve (Joe) are back at Hawkins.

“At this most vulnerable moment, a new and terrifying supernatural threat is emerging, presenting a gruesome mystery that, if solved, could finally put an end to the horrors of Upside Down,” Netflix said.

In March, the streamer released some of the first images of the new episodes, teasing a possible rescue mission to Russia – where Hopper (David Harbor), who was presumed dead at the end of Season 3, is being held captive.

Other photos include a shot of Eleven, Mike and the rest of the Hawkins crew being reunited, Hopper with a shaved head and the team playing Dungeons and Dragons, and Nancy and Robin (Maya Hawke) visiting a creepy dungeon. .
