Scott Disick seemed a little upset when he opened up about the loss of his children’s mother and best friend Kourtney Kardashian.
Describing his and Kourtney’s relationship, Disick revealed it had been a “big adjustment” to lose him as his “best friend” while he grew closer to American musician Travis Barker.
Scott and Kardashian – who share children Mason, Penelope and Reign – dated until 2015. The two have remained good friends even after separating and are proud to raise their children together.
The 38-year-old reflects on how the dynamics of their co-parenting have changed since she became romantically involved with the drummer.
During the premiere of The Kardashians series, Disick told Khloe Kardashian about the impact her ex moved on.
“Now that Kourtney is living her life with Travis, no matter how difficult it is, it gives me a place to finally move on,” Disick told Khloe Kardashian.
The father of three also revealed that getting away from Kourtney Kardashian feels like one of the “harder things” in his life.
She added: “It was a huge adjustment to lose Kourtney romantically, but now it’s a huge adjustment to lose her as a best friend. Now we really are just parents together. I would say it was probably one of the more difficult things in my life.”
Scott Disick, who is on good terms with the Kardashians, admits he feels “left out” when he’s not invited to a BBQ party his ex and Barker are attending. He’s still adjusting to losing Kourtney as a best friend and feels like he’s missing some family activities.
