Sienna Miller has ‘zero chemistry’ with co-star Ben Affleck

Actress Sienna Miller didn’t hold back when asked what she thought of her former co-star Ben Affleck in a recent interview.

Actress Sienna Miller didn’t mince words when asked what she thought of her former co-star Ben Affleck in a recent interview.

The couple appeared together in the 2016 gangster movie Living At Nighta box-office flop written, directed, produced by and starring Affleck.

Miller plays his love interest in the film, with their characters meant to fall in love — but there’s only one problem, he revealed to Variety in a new interview. They have “zero chemistry.”

“Ben Affleck is like my brother [on set]. I have never laughed so much in my life. I mean, it sounds like a ridiculous thing to say and like a name-dropping thing to say, but I really mean it. We have no chemistry at all. It was hysterical. We were supposed to fall in love. We couldn’t be less attracted to each other, which was hysterical.”

He didn’t stop there, also revealing that one unusual part of Affleck’s anatomy presented challenges during filming.

“He has a big head, I have a small head, so they must like to put me a bit in front of him … and he directs the film and I can barely see him because he laughs all the time.”

The lack of chemistry between the two main characters can’t help this film’s fortunes: Living At Night It is estimated to have lost more than $AU100 million to Warner Bros., with critics calling it a “disappointment” to see Affleck “burdened with derivative material.”

Wenlei Ma of himself described the film as “a mind-boggling mess,” asking: “Ben Affleck, why did you make this film?”

“Midway, you won’t care what happens to any of these characters. Live or die, win or lose — meh, give me some popcorn, I’m bored,” he wrote at the time.

He may not have had any sort of spark with Miller, but Affleck’s real-life romance is going strong, with news this week that he and girlfriend Jennifer Lopez are getting engaged again – 20 years after he first asked the question.

The former Hollywood couple rekindled their romance last year, and in an honest video update to his fans, J Lo this week revealed that Affleck got down on his knees and proposed to her while she was taking a bubble bath.

“I was completely caught off guard and just looked into his eyes smiling and crying at the same time trying really hard to accept the fact that after 20 years this is happening again,” he told fans.

She added: “I was smiling so big and tears running down my face, feeling so happy and whole. It’s not fancy at all, but it’s the most romantic thing I could ever imagine… Just a quiet Saturday night at home, two people promising to always be there for each other. Two very lucky people. Who gets a second chance for true love.”
