Prince Harry breaks the silence at secret meeting with Queen Elizabeth

Prince Harry opened up about his secret meeting with his grandmother Queen Elizabeth last weekend, after he visited her in Windsor while on a trip to the Invictus Games, reported Sun.

The Duke of Sussex stopped in England for a few minutes while traveling to the Netherlands for a sporting event with his wife Meghan Markle, and said it was “nice to see (the Queen).”

Talk with BBC on Monday, Prince Harry shared that the 95-year-old monarch shared with him a message for British veterans competing at the Invictus Games.

“He’s got a lot of messages for Team UK that I’ve been passing on…” Harry shared.

He went on to add that the Queen would be traveling for the game if her health allowed; The king has been struggling with mobility issues and fatigue after catching COVID-19 earlier this year.

Prince Harry concluded; “It’s great to see him and I’m sure he would love to be here if he could.”

Harry and Meghan’s last meeting with the Queen marked their first meeting with the king since March 2020, when they stepped away from their roles as senior royals.

They were last seen with the Queen during the Commonwealth Day service on March 8, 2020.
