Nic Cage’s Reddit AMA became a healthy moment on the Internet

Nicolas Cage took part in a Reddit AMA over the weekend and it turned out to be an unforgettable event for fans and Cage. While the reactions from the fans were incredibly affectionate and positive, it was Cage himself who seemed to enjoy it most of all.

In an interview, Cage said that support from fans meant a lot to him.

“I was blessed to have a very loyal group of moviegoers stuck with me and that meant a lot to me,” Cage said. “And by the way, that was the highlight of my day. We did it together and I thought it was an amazing interview. With all the people who asked me questions, they were really great questions, very thoughtful, and I was deeply moved.”

Earlier today on Reddit, many Nic Cage fans noticed that it was “one of the best AMAs I have read” and “an all timer”, with others noting how genuine Cage looked.

“I honestly did not know much about Nic Cage before AMA, but I left it thinking how insightful and genuine he seemed,” wrote Reddit user CrebTheBerc. “I respect him a lot more now (not that I didn’t do it before, I just thought he was a really honest guy). He looks like a very good guy above all else. I totally agree. He was a REALLY good AMA.”

Cage shared a lot about his life and career during the AMA. When asked which quote he hates to hear in public, Cage replied: “I have no problem with any of the excerpts, I’m glad they remember the movie.”
