Netflix has released the trailer for Pete Davidson’s Marmaduke

Netflix has just unveiled a trailer for their new Marmanduk film. Pete Davidson plays the iconic character of the comics. Andrew McMeel Entertainment and Legacy Classic are producing the film. In the animated film, Marmaduke tries to get into the Westminster dog show, but unfortunately, he keeps getting into trouble. If that’s not enough, the puppy has competition. JK Simmons plays Zeus, a tough opponent for Marmaduke. It will be interesting to see Davidson jump out of Simmons’s comic style. In fact, there is a lot of amazing voice talent for this movie. On the production side, Mar AZ DippĂ© will direct the film with Matt Phillip Whelan. Byron Cavanaugh wrote the screenplay for Marmanduk. Storyberry is handling the animation effort in the Netflix movie. Of course, fans are familiar with Owen Wilson’s 2010 film. This seems ready to go in a slightly different direction. Brad Anderson created Marmanduk back in 1954 and sadly died in 2015. Davidson approaches the challenge of different projects far from On Saturday night live.

“I think we sent the headlights this week, so I’m really looking forward to it,” he revealed. He also shared that his mom has seen the movie. “Yes, my mom has seen it.
