Makoto Shinkai’s first trailer for Suzume no Tojimari makes its debut

The next big feature film by the famous director Makoto Shinkai, Suzume no Tojimari unveiled its first trailer! Shinkai has become one of the most notable creators thanks to the success of blockbuster like Your name and Weathering With You, and Shinkai had informed his fans about his next project last year. Revealing that work on the next film had already begun (and it was far from its last update in early 2021), fans finally got a look at what Shinkai has planned for the big screen since the film’s unveiling. with the test title, Suzume no Tojimari.

Shinkai had the following to say about work Suzume no Tojimari, “We have to think about how to close the many doors we left open,” Shinkai began. “I gave this responsibility to Suzume as she travels to Japan closing various doors. Scheduled for release in cinemas across Japan on November 11, Makoto Shinkai is credited with directing, telling and writing the Toho and CoMix Wave Films. Masayoshi Tanaka will design the characters, Kenichi Tsuchiya will be the animation director and Takumi Tanji will be the artistic director.
