Kim Kardashian sex tape picked up at Blac Chyna trial

The Kardashians and Jenners were thrilled to hear about Kim Kardashian’s sex tape scandal during jury selection for the pending family trial against Blac Chyna.

Page Six was inside Los Angeles Superior Court on Monday when Kardashian-Jenner attorney Michael Rhodes asked a group of prospective jurors if they had strong positive or negative feelings about reality television.

One of the potential jurors, a man who appears to be in his 50s or 60s, claimed he had never watched Keeping Up with the Kardashians but noted: “I have watched [Kim] The Kardashian sex tape, and I don’t think I can be impartial in this case.”

This response drew laughter from the other prospective jurors sitting in the audience. Following the statement, Khloe Kardashian, 37, was seen fixing Kim’s long black hair – ostensibly to cheer up her sister.

Kris Jenner, 66, then shook his head after the same man reiterated to the judge that it would be difficult for him to be on jury because he would “play the sex tape over and over again” in his head.

While Kim, 41, continued to stare at the front of the courtroom, Khloé looked deeply irritated by the comments and wore the same facial expression she had when she, her sister, and Kris exited the courtroom to rest.

Khloé, Kim and Kris sat in the first row of audience seats with Kylie Jenner, 24, and their upgraded security team. Rob Kardashian, 35, was not present.

Chyna, 33, was also in the courtroom and sat up front next to her lawyer, Lynne Ciani. His mother, Tokyo Toni, was also present at the meeting.

As of Monday, two groups of prospective jurors – totaling 76 people – had been questioned to determine eligibility to serve impartially in the trial. Lawyers plan to question a third panel of 24 potential jurors on Tuesday.

Several people questioned Monday said they knew about the Kardashians and Jenners because of their children, who watch their shows and follow them on social media.

A jury admits it will be difficult for him to be impartial during the trial because he doesn’t like reality TV and hopes the show “no longer exists”.

KUWTK E! ran for 20 seasons from 2007 to 2021. During that time, several spin-off shows – including Rob & Chyna – debuted. Their latest series, The Kardashians, just aired last week.

In 2017, Chyna filed a lawsuit against the entire Kardashian-Jenner family — including Kourtney Kardashian, 43, and Kendall Jenner, 26 — over claims of assault, battery, domestic violence, defamation and interference with prospective economic relationships.

The reality star, who shares 5-year-old daughter Dream with Rob, accused her ex of being the “perpetrator” and her family as “media predators” stopping the ex-couple’s show.

Chyna is seeking more than $40 million for lost income compensation and more than $60 million for loss of future earning capacity compensation.

The Kardashians and Jenners responded to Chyna’s claims with their own lawsuit, accusing the influencer of violently assaulting Rob.
