Kate Middleton and Prince William miss Harry’s visit after family goes skiing | Kingdom | News

Back in 2016, the family shared an official photo of them playing in the snow wearing their skis.

Kate and William went on several ski trips together while they were dating, first meeting at the University of St Andrews after being first spotted vacationing as a couple in Switzerland in 2004.

Two years later, they kissed in public for the first time on the slopes.

In 2012, William took Kate away on a romantic getaway to a luxury chalet in Verbier after they had spent six weeks apart when she flew RAF helicopters in the Falklands.

At the time, a source told the Mirror that it was Duke’s attempt to “reconcile” his wife after the split.

They said: “William missed Kate so much when he was gone. They spent Valentine’s Day separately and he had been thinking for some time how to make it up to his wife.

“He wanted the reunion in the most romantic way possible.

“They had a great time skiing, and William decided a vacation in Switzerland, where they could put on their glasses and hats and go around unnoticed, would be perfect.

They spent several days in the town of Berkshire, during which time they had a “cleansing up” meeting with the Queen and Prince Charles.

They were spotted by stunned tourists who were in the area for the annual Maundy Sunday church service in St George’s Chapel.

A senior royal source told the Mirror that the encounter was “very warm and kind” with the others adding that they were “friendly”.
