Haven asked his parents, ‘Who is your favorite child?’ which brought laughter to both parents.

Warren cleverly answered the question, ‘Haven, you are by far my favorite child – do you have any siblings? Right now, you are the only child in my mind.’

Haven replies, ‘You only say that because I’m here,’ to which the founder of The Honest Company goes on to say, ‘Whoever is in front of us is our favourite.’

Haven asked his parents about how they first met, while working on the 2005 film Fantastic Four in Vancouver in 2004, as Warren was a production assistant while Alba played Sue Storm in the film. Alba said Warren ‘had a boyfriend’ as he was ‘just hanging out’ with someone at the time.

The Sin City star told Haven: ‘Your father has a legal girlfriend. And your dad had to take pictures of my Polaroid with a variety of different contact colors to see which one was more realistic… that’s probably one thing I’d take back, not wearing contacts.

‘Even if I don’t use contacts, we won’t take my picture and maybe we won’t make the connection.’

Warren said she felt that their relationship was inevitable, and that they ‘would make it’ no matter what.

“I must have known,” he said. ‘I focused on the laser, focused on it.’

Haven asked his parents if they were ‘really mad’ at him and his siblings when they said so.

Warren replied, ‘Sometimes we laugh at it because it’s really funny but we pretend to be angry. I’d say most of the time we’re really mad – hence the rare occasions it’s funny.

The mother-of-three told Haven it was ‘different when you were little, like Haysie’s age,’ in reference to their four-year-old son.

In the clip, Warren says he and Alba were thrilled to see their family grow up and eventually become grandparents.

‘We’d be amazing grandparents if you were wondering,’ Warren told Haven.
