With the return of major golf championships at The Country Club in Brookline, Massachusetts, for the first time since 1988, the US Open has intensified on Transfer Day and will now close with a bang. The first 54 holes have seen a number of stars skyrocket in the leaderboard with Jon Rahm, Scottie Scheffler and Rory McIlroy all chasing the leaders.

Those leaders? Two men who competed late last month in the PGA Championship. Will Zalatoris and Matthew Fitzpatrick take a one-shot lead on court after three rounds, and Zalatoris looking to achieve Sunday what he couldn’t in the PGA Championship: cap his first career. Fitzpatrick, who won the amateur crown at The Country Club, hopes that the familiarity will give him enough momentum to take his first major.

Meanwhile, Rahm — the reigning champion — was just one shot away from the lead and aimed to attack each other. Scheffler is trying to join the stakes in status as one of the few to win both the Masters and the US Open in the same year. As for McIlroy, he is playing his best golf in years and is trying to win his first title since 2014.

Even outside of those golfers, there’s so much to keep up with on a Sunday that it can be overwhelming at times. Do not worry we are ready to help you.
